Cynthia Prinzing


Cynthia has more than 30 years experience in dance instruction as well as award winning choreography. She previously owned and operated Act I Dance in New Brighton for 10 years and has taught for various dance studios in the Twin Cities area. Cynthia has taken dance instruction at Minnesota Dance Theatre, the University of MN, Minnesota Jazz Company, and was an original member of Zenon Company. She has also studied dance with the late world renowned Gus Giordano, both in MN and at his studio in Chicago; Dupres’s, Tremaine’s, Debbie Reynold’s Dance Studio in L.A.; Steps, Broadway Dance Center and Phil Black’s in N.Y.C., as well as ballet and jazz classes in Paris. She continues to attend dance conventions such as West Coast Dance Explosion, Shock, and Jump as well as “The Pulse” convention where she received instruction and met with the choreographers and judges of the hit show “So You Think You Can Dance”. (Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, and Brian Friedman, along with choreographers Chris Judd and Dave Scott.) Cynthia returns to New York City often to continue her dance training and study the current trends in dance.
Alejandra Iannone

Ballet Instructor

Alejandra is an honors graduate of the Fordham University/ The Ailey School BFA and an M.A. in Philosophy from Temple University. Her earliest training was under Betty Seibert (F.I.S.T.D.), Noble and Ruth Barker, Daniel Duell and Patricia Blair, Phillip Otto, and Rachel Butler-Otto.
Alejandra has had the honor of performing at venues throughout the United States and abroad, including The Ordway Center for Performing Arts, Carnegie
Hall, Jacob’s Pillow, the Versace Mansion, and Jennifer Lopez's Super Saturday Night during Superbowl LII. She was a featured performer in The Ride (a New York Drama Desk Award Nominee for Unique Theatrical Experience) and has danced in works by Sidra Bell, Christopher Huggins, Take Ueyama, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Penny Freeh, Jermaine Berry, and Heidi Spesard-Noble. Alejandra also serves as the Creative Director of Sparkle Theatricals and a member of the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council’s Board of Directors.
Alejandra is an ABT® Affiliate Instructor who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Levels 6, 7 & Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
She is thrilled to be on faculty at Studio One Dance.
